# Getting started with Moku API
This section will help you get started with the Moku API. This section outlines how to get started with each API:
- Python: The Moku Scripting API for Python requires data files to be downloaded before any program can be run.
- MATLAB: The Moku Scripting API for MATLAB is available through the MATLAB File Exchange and the MATLAB Add-on Manager.
- LabVIEW: The Moku Scripting API for LabVIEW includes VI’s for performing Moku instrument operation. Download the VI package to get started
- cURL: cURL allows you to easily interact with your Moku from a terminal or, indeed, any programming language at all that supports REST (or even just HTTP).
- MIM: Multi-instrument Mode (MiM) allows a user to use more than one instrument simultaneously on the Moku platform, available to use on any API platform.
- Other: Other languages are available to use Moku scripting API.
